I read The Absent Author by Ron Roy. Dink writes to his favorite author mystery wallis wallace and inviites him to visit green lawn.
wonders says yes in fact the famous writer says that the only way he wont come is if he’s kidnapped. but when the big day comes wallis wallace is nowhere to be found. the police think he just missed his plane but dink knows better. it up to dink and his two best frinds josh and ruth rose to find wallace -wallace before its too late!
I like the book because it is funny and so silly
